I didn't do S.P.S or S.O.S because I was out all day saturday with my mates and mum decided to do a clean up on sunday. Anyway, I found inspiration for this photo before I new the word, I was recycling some empty loo rolls and thought they would be good to photograph and what do you know, the next word was discard!

Tip
Yet again i have done a photo based on a gaming gadget. For those of you who can't tell what it is, shame on you, it is the tip of the neck of the guitar used in Guitar Hero (world tour). if you are unfamilliar with this title it is a game a bit like dance mat where you have to tap the right button at the right time to earn points through out a song. it also comes with a microphone for singing and a drum for drumming (obviously).

S.O.S 18.01.09
I took this picture mainly to show off to my mum. I said i was going to take a picture of Twig (the cute dog in the photo). However, my mum said i should not even try because she has never been able to get a good photo of him and she has been taking photos longer than i have and so if she can't do it i can't. To prove her wrong i spent half an hour trying to get a good photograph of Twig and then i took this one. so this photo is to show of to my mum that i managed to get a good photo of Twig.

S.P.S 18.01.09
This is my first ever self portrait saturday and it is of me at 9:30 after coming back from the cinema with my mates, and yes i did wear the 3D glasses (geeky i know). We went to see seven pounds and i highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind getting "dust" in their eyes if you know what i mean. All you could hear was people crying, and i was no exception along with some of my friends. Anyway it was a fun day.

Square
This ones a bit late i know but life's been hectic for the past few days and i have only just managed to post this. For those of you who don't know i am a die hard geek and will take any opportunity to take photos of my array of gaming gear, like the X-box controller i did for technology. What are those funny square things you might ask. They are games cartridges for my Nintendo DS lite, these include Pokemon diamond version, guitar hero on tour, 42 all-time classics, drawn to life, brain training and more brain training. Go me!

Duke of Edinburgh
For those of you who want to know what the Duke of Edinburgh Award involves then look no further. Above is a photograph of my "pack", anyone wanting to do the D of E Award gets one of these after a one time payment of eleven pounds. It has all you need to successfully complete the scheme, it even includes a fifteen percent discount card for an outdoor activity store. The white booklets in the image are what you will need to ask your examiner to sign every time you do that activity, whether it be Skill, Physical recreation or Service. For my skill I chose photography, for my physical recreation I chose swimming and for my Service I chose Youth work. One of those activities will need to be done for at least six months, I chose photography, and the other two will need to be done for at least three months. There will also be a one off expedition which involves all of the applicants in the group to go on a six hours hike on a circular route, set up camp and make own meal, then do another six hour hike in the morning with absolutely no adult supervision what soever apart from a phone in case anything goes wrong. All of this is to achieve Bronze in the D of E (I don't want to know what Silver involves yet let alone Gold).
Pac Man
I have discovered the wonders of Pac Man in the gadget window. I hope you enjoy and that you will try to get into the high scores.
The War of Facebook
As I was taking a picture of "Jolly" I noticed mum and kyle were sending indirect insults to each other through my cousin, Claire (don't ask me why). The really stupid thing was that they would tell each other what they had sent before Claire had time to forward it to the rightful receiver. I then took this photograph, shook my head and got back to doing "Jolly".
Jolly
To most people this is just a sheep with a Mohawk, nothing out of the ordinary, but to me this of great sentimental value and it makes me jolly inside. It was a souvenir that I got from the Menai centre in Wales while on a school weekend science trip away there a year or so ago. Me and four of my friends decided to buy the first thing we found in there, within budget, and I ended up with a sheep wearing shades with a Mohawk doing the "point dance".

Heart
Old
I was quite pleased when I saw the word old. My great great uncle Lez's "money cup" was the first thing that came to mind. when I was younger I would go to my uncle Lez's and aunty Mary's house and while I was there I would count all his change and put it into piles and then I would put the twenty pence pieces into the cup. I also remember warming my but on their fire every time we went.
Beginning
This is me Catching up with three days that I missed (Before I started). Beginning was a hard one, it was a moment where I wished we had one of those "books for dummies". This was the only thing besides the stairs that came into my head when I saw the word (the stairs didn't work). It's supposed to be a starting gun for a race. Oh, and by the way it is not a real revolver, it is a metal cap gun I got from a toy shop some time back.
Sport
I got this baseball while in Canada (the first time) from some guy who worked at the Toronto blue jays' stadium. my aunty Carolyn got into a conversation with him and ended up telling him that we were from England. The guy then went down to the diamond (pitch) and came back with two balls used by the blue jays and gave one to me and one to kyle.

Handle
I laughed when i saw todays word. I couldn't miss the opportunity to base my photo on one of the Two Ronnies' funniest sketches, the "fork handles" sketch. Thank's to everyone who visited me yesterday. I don't have the time to visit anybody elses blogs during the week but i will look at them on the weekend.

Technology
I am currently working towards my bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and have chosen photography as my skill. I needed to set myself a personal goal which is to improve my photography and to learn how to use Photoshop Elements 7. To fulfil the requirements for the award I need to devote about an hour a week, for 6 months to photography. My Mum (Rachael) has suggested that I particitpate in HSMSHS each day to help to achieve this and to stay motivated. My Mum's friend Mima has very kindly agreed to look at my pictures and sign the paperwork everyweek to say I have done what I am supposed to do.
