S.P.S 18.01.09

This is my first ever self portrait saturday and it is of me at 9:30 after coming back from the cinema with my mates, and yes i did wear the 3D glasses (geeky i know). We went to see seven pounds and i highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind getting "dust" in their eyes if you know what i mean. All you could hear was people crying, and i was no exception along with some of my friends. Anyway it was a fun day.

    Love the 3D glasses! Self portraits are hard to do, if you are looking for some inspiration I know that there is a group on Flickr that is called 365 Days where they try and do one everyday - there are some brilliant ones in there.

    Great shot - especially for a first attempt. Love the squares too - I've got a geeky son - he's well into his x box & playing on line!

    Great SPS. Like the cropping . . . and hiding behind the glasses and fringe ;-)

    Seven Pounds. Took me some time to work out what was going on then it all started to fall in to place! My friend kept crying :'-( I shed a tear at the very end when Emily tried to talk to Ezra, otherwise I held it all in!!

    BUT. The intro to SP says that God created the world in seven days and he, Will Smith, destroyed his in seven seconds. That took my mind off the film for "several" minutes as I tried to recall whether it was actully created in six days and then God actually rested on the seventh!!! Huh! And you think you are a geek ;-D LOL
